Member Referral Program — Terms and Conditions

1. Overview

The Origami Factory Member Referral Program (“the Program”) rewards current, active members (“Referrers”) for introducing new families to Origami Factory. Referrers earn a cash reward for each new family who joins as a paying member as a direct result of their introduction, plus an additional annual reward for high-volume referrers. Participation in the Program is voluntary and is governed by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Definitions

• “Referrer” means a person who holds an active, paying Origami Factory membership at the time a referral is recorded and at the time any reward is paid.
• “Referred Family” means a new customer, with no prior Origami Factory account, introduced to Origami Factory by a Referrer.
• “Registered Referral” means a Referred Family who: (a) is recorded against the Referrer’s account before or at the time of booking their trial class, (b) completes a trial class and enrols as a paying monthly member, and (c) completes their first full paid month of membership without cancelling or receiving a refund.
• “Calendar Year” means the period from 1 January to 31 December.

3. Eligibility

• Referrers must hold an active, paying membership at Origami Factory at the time a referral is recorded, and must still hold an active membership at the time any reward is paid.
• Each family account may act as one Referrer, regardless of how many children in that family are enrolled.
• Coaches, staff, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the Program.
• A Referrer may not refer a second account belonging to their own household, or any family already enrolled or previously enrolled at Origami Factory.

4. How a Referral Is Recorded

A referral must be recorded against the Referrer’s account before or at the time the Referred Family books their trial class, using the referral process in place at the time (currently: naming the Referrer at booking, or a referral code where provided). Referrals claimed after a Referred Family has already booked or attended a trial without being recorded will not be eligible for any reward under this Program.

5. Reward Structure

5.1 Per-Referral Reward

Origami Factory will pay AED 200 to the Referrer for each Registered Referral.

This reward becomes payable only once the Referred Family has completed their first full paid month of membership without cancelling or receiving a refund. No reward is payable for a Referred Family who completes only a trial class, or who cancels or receives a refund during their first paid month.

5.2 Annual Milestone Reward

A Referrer who produces 10 or more Registered Referrals within a single Calendar Year may choose one of the following, to apply for the 12 months immediately following the month in which their 10th Registered Referral of that Calendar Year is confirmed:

• (a) Twelve months of training on the membership package the Referrer currently holds, at no cost; or
• (b) Twelve months of training on the next membership tier above the Referrer’s current package, at 50% of that tier’s standard price.

The Annual Milestone Reward is paid in addition to the AED 200 Per-Referral Reward already earned for each Registered Referral counted toward the milestone. It does not replace those individual payments.

The Annual Milestone Reward is earned again for every further 10 Registered Referrals a Referrer produces within the same Calendar Year, with no upper limit. For example, a Referrer who produces 30 Registered Referrals within a single Calendar Year earns the Annual Milestone Reward three times over, one for each block of 10, applied consecutively (or as otherwise agreed with Origami Factory).

6. Payment of Rewards

• Per-Referral Rewards are processed within 30 days of the Registered Referral qualifying under Section 5.1.
• Rewards are paid by bank transfer, or credit toward the Referrer’s own membership fees, at Origami Factory’s discretion unless otherwise agreed.
• Where a reward is applied as credit toward the Referrer’s own membership fees, it will be applied to the next invoice due after the reward is confirmed.
• Referrers are responsible for any personal tax obligations arising from rewards received under this Program.

7. Reversal and Ineligible Referrals

• If a Referred Family cancels their membership or receives a refund during their first paid month, no Per-Referral Reward is payable for that referral. If the reward has already been paid, Origami Factory may deduct the equivalent amount from future rewards owed to the Referrer, or invoice the Referrer directly for the amount.
• Rewards obtained through false, fraudulent, or duplicate referrals, or through any breach of these Terms, will be forfeited and may be reclaimed. Origami Factory may remove a Referrer from the Program at its discretion in such cases.

8. Referrer Conduct

• Referrers must not misrepresent Origami Factory’s programmes, pricing, offers, or the Confidence Score guarantee when making a referral.
• Referrers must not offer their own side incentives, discounts, or promises on Origami Factory’s behalf.
• Referrers must not use misleading, false, or spam-based methods to generate referrals.

9. Program Changes and Termination

Origami Factory may modify, suspend, or end this Program at any time. Where reasonably possible, active members will be given advance notice of material changes by email or through the parent communication channels then in use.

Registered Referrals confirmed before a change takes effect will be honoured under the terms in place at the time the referral was recorded. Referrals recorded after a change takes effect are governed by the updated terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

Origami Factory’s total liability to any single Referrer under this Program in a given Calendar Year, whether in cash rewards, membership credit, or Annual Milestone Rewards, will not be capped, save as otherwise agreed in writing.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute arising from this Program will be subject to the same dispute resolution process set out in Origami Factory’s main Terms and Conditions and membership agreement.
